Motivation Monday meets Cara Box

Cara Box

Cara Box
cara (car-rah) noun   :   beloved friend

Cara Box is a monthly gift exchange used to make new friends and share encouragement. This wonderful event was created by Wifessionals. This is my first month to participate and I am hooked!

Last Wednesday was a rather rainy day spent inside at a conference learning and networking. The most exciting part of my day was visiting the local health food store to buy some new items to try. Until I got home and saw a large box sitting outside of my apartment door. I literally squealed like a teenage girl as I skipped my way to the door. I could not get inside fast enough because I knew it was my Cara Box from my new Friend Jessica over at Blissfully Miller.

Impatiently, I flung open the apartment door, through down my groceries and proceeded to the knife drawer to open my box. Judging from the wrapping, you would think she had known me all her life.

Love the wrapping!!

Each month has a new theme and this month was "green." I couldn't of asked for anything better. I just got through blogging about how I wanted to grow an herb garden.

Inside:
2 flower pots
A Poppy Grow Kit
A Cilantro Grow Kit
Burts Bees Lip Gloss (it is so smooth!)
Beautiful Thank You cards
And nail polish which is named "bond with whatever"
Very appropriate since we have now bonded =)

My usual Motivation Monday posts deal with food or exercise, but today I want you to be motivated and inspired to make a new friend or get to know an acquaintance a little better. There was a time in my life when I thought I had no one and now I consider myself a very bless girl to have SO many wonderful friends, and I'm excited to call Jessica one! From what I know about her so far it sounds like we would mesh perfectly. Thank you Jessica, for your kind and thoughtful gifts!

  1. Cute stuff! I love that so many people thought of seeds and pots (I got some too), I can't believe that didn't cross my mind.
