Yesterday was an exceptionally special Sunday. Why? Because my Mommy came to town. No, it is not like a normal Mother coming to visit. My mom is a fabulous women truck driver and work carries across the United States. Unfortunately, I may get to see my mom every six months and we are lucky if we get to spend longer then a couple of hours together. I miss her so much, but I know she does not want me to mope around. She always says "make memories everyday." Honestly, as cliche as is sounds, words cannot explain the love I have for my Mother. She is my everything.
We all get so caught up in worrying, mourning, and often times just feeling sorry for ourselves that we forget to live each day to the fullest. It makes me so mad when I hear someone arguing with their mom or relative about a something so petty. I want to shout "at least you get to see them whenever you want. Stop being selfish and get over it!" I can get a little harsh when I'm emotional. Although this is an emotional vent it also describes our relationship with our health. We complain "I cannot do it: or "I don't have time" or "I'll never be skinny!" This is when I would come in and shake you and tell everything you need is right in front of you. Now it is up to you with what you will do with it. Believe you me I'm preaching to myself as much as I am preaching to you! Way to many days do I find myself complaining and making excuses for myself. No more!

Live Like There's No Tomorrow
Stop Complaining
Eat your Veggies
Drink Water
Be Thankful
Push Harder
Run Faster
Sweat more
Pray!

What a sweet post about your mom! I'm trying to remember to enjoy every day too. It's hard some days when I just want to mope around, but we only have one life! We need to make the most of it. :)
