well...I'm about a week behind but, my niece did such a great job on this post I wanted to publish it!
Today [last week] is known as "Johnny Appleseed Day"! Way back in the 1770's Johnny was known for planting apple trees throughout Ohio, Pennsylvanian, Indiana and Illinois, he was very kind and today is known as an American Figure for his leadership. He was also a missionary, There is many museums and Historical places dedicated to Johnny "Appleseed" Chapmen.
In honor of Johnny "Appleseed" here are a few yummy recipes from apples!

Johnny Appleseed walked almost everywhere he went. He preferred to walk and carry his apple seeds with him. Some say he once walked 15 miles through rain and snow. So a little walking/jogging every now and then wont hurt!
